Incident: air traffic controllers' strike
The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform that the major Italian unions have called a 24-hour strike, commencing at 00.01 CEST on 21 October 2022, involving air traffic controllers (ENAV personnel) at all Italian airports.
Furthermore, other (smaller) unions have called strikes at different times on the same day, involving ground handlers and other airport and airline personnel.
Disruption is to be expected with regard to the handling of inbound and outbound airmail at Milan’s Linate and Malpensa airports, although mitigation measures will be taken at the airmail units.

Incident: ICT issues at JMKINA IMPC - back to normal
Further to incident bulletins 29.04.2022 and 06.05.2022, the designated operator of Jamaica, Jamaica Post, wishes to inform that the reported ICT issues relating to inbound mail have now been rectified. As a result, the processing of inbound mail has returned to normal.
