Incident: extreme weather and flooding - back to normal

Further to Incident Bulletin 08.07.2022, the designated operator of Australia, Australia Post, wishes to inform that the extreme weather conditions and flooding across New South Wales have passed with effect from 12 July 2022, and that postal operations have therefore returned to normal.
 

Israel

Incident: delays in handling of shipments due to visit by the US President

The designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, wishes to inform that owing to a visit to Israel by the President of the United States from 13 to 15 July 2022, activities at the airport and cargo terminals will be restricted, and there will be sporadic road closures.

As a result of these restrictions, which may also prevent postal staff from reaching their place of work, Israel Postal Company is expecting delays in the release, transfer and handling of shipments, as well as in the last-mile delivery of items, until the end of the week.
 

Macao

Incident: update on the state of immediate COVID-19 prevention

Further to Incident Bulletins 24.06.2022, 01.07.2022 and 08.07.2022, Macao Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Macao, wishes to inform that in accordance with Dispatch No. 116/2022 of the Chief Executive, all government bureaus will be closed from 11 to 17 July 2022, except those providing urgent and indispensable services to the public, in order to adopt strict epidemic control measures.

Deliveries of letter-post items, advice notes for parcel-post items and EMS items are therefore suspended with effect from 11 July 2022 until further notice. The call centre for the Parcel Service, Mail Handling and Distribution Centre (EMS) is also closed from the above date until further notice.
