Australia Post informs of new restrictions in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Australia Post is experiencing disruptions to its daily operations due to emergency measures imposed by the government. These measures, which include lockdowns, state border closures, restrictions on movement, and self-isolation for affected individuals, have caused disruption with airlines and other transportation providers.
The restrictions are thus having a direct impact on service quality for inbound international letter post services (LC/AO). Australia Post is therefore declaring a force majeure event for all inbound international letter post services with effect from 28 June 2021.

Bpost workers strike causes postal disruptions across Zaventem: it has been reported on June 30 that postal worker strikes at Bpost distribution centers have caused disruptions in Zaventem. The strike affects mail delivery operations in Zaventem, Tervuren, and parts of Overijse. The exact duration of the strike has not been immediately disclosed.

Postal workers in Limoux announce strike from June 29: postal workers in the Limoux region have gone on strike from June 29. The workers are represented by the CGT FAPT union and are demanding better workloads and more job security. Postal operational delays are expected in the region. Lithuania - end of lockdown

The designated operator of Lithuania, Lietuvos paštas, informs that the Government of Lithuania has declared the end of national lockdown as of 1 July 2021, keeping some safety measures in place to limit the further spread of COVID-19.
As a result of that the Exceptional Event is closed as of 1 July, 2021.
Mauritius

The designated operator of Mauritius, Mauritius Post, wishes to inform that the Government of Mauritius has announced the easing of COVID-related restrictions with effect from 1 July 2021, subject to strict adherence to sanitary protocols and measures.
As from 15 July 2021, Mauritius will gradually open its international borders. However, Mauritius Post would like to remind that COVID-19 continues to have a direct impact on international inbound and outbound mails to and from Mauritius.
New Zealand

The designated operator of New Zealand, New Zealand Post, asks us to inform that, as a result of a recent confirmed case of COVID-19 in Wellington, the New Zealand Government has moved the Wellington region to Alert Level 2 of the national COVID-19 pandemic plan, with effect from 18.00 local time on 23 June 2021. This will remain in force until 23.59 local time on Sunday, 27 June 2021, while testing and contact tracing is underway.
This alert level entails measures such as staff working from home, social distancing and reduced shift sizes in order to ensure a safe working environment. Therefore, New Zealand Post’s operational performance in the Wellington region will be materially impacted while this alert level remains in place, as it will be operating with limited processing and delivery resources, thus placing constraints on capacity and service performance capability.

The designated operator of Thailand, Thailand Post, would like to inform that, following a number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the Thailand Post workforce, post offices in various parts of the country have been temporarily closed in accordance with government measures.
During this period, Thailand Post will continue to provide postal services, and will work with local authorities to manage the situation and make necessary adjustments to ensure the delivery and processing of inbound and outbound mail. However, with a reduced workforce, Thailand Post is unable to guarantee compliance with the agreed standards.
